Danville Mayor Robert Storer and/or, newly elected Danville Mayor, will visit your child's classroom in the morning and they will receive an official Town of Danville lapel pin and a history book of Danville while participating in a mock-city council meeting.

At 5:30pm, the same day, bring along up to three of your best friends and parents to go on a walking history tour of Old Town Danville. Then your son/daughter and their friends will join the Council at a regularly scheduled Tuesday evening Council meeting (7:30pm - 1st or 3rd Tuesday of the month).

Your child will receive an official proclamation claiming 'Mayor for the Day'.
