The children first pained with brushes, and we let it dry. The next day, painted a piece of burlap with sponges.  While the burlap was wet, we put it on the canvas and let the children, moves fabric around and shape it, until we got the look we liked! Then for a more unique look, we added some beads, and sliced three branches.
