Media: Water color, glue, thread, dried flowers, sticks, seeds.

This art piece gave our children the opportunity to move into new media beyond painting.  Once the watercolor washes were dry, they applied natural materials to experience creating a collage.  They also had their first experience using a sewing needle (child’s safety needle) and thread to stitch the large nature items securely to the canvas.  Using the needle was the most fun!
