Their story:

Since the launch of Jacob's Pickles on the Upper West Side of NY in late 2011, the Pickles team has been committed to sharing their love for food and community. “Everything we do is about bringing good food to good people”, says Jacob. “I couldn’t find this style of food in New York—a sort of back to basics kind of cooking. My father raised me in a neighborhood restaurant in Astoria, Queens. “It’s all about warmth and community for us, always has been.” Since the beginning, we’re proud to have shared our love for home-cooked food, artisanal beer, hand made cocktails, and of course, pickles.

I fell in love with Southern-style cooking early on my travels. I love the warmth and charm of it-think buttermilk fried chicken, served on top of a biscuit drizzled with clover honey, then topped with our Hot Sour pickles. It's food that makes you smile.

A pickle is more than just "a pickle". For us, pickles have a real place at the table. Thoughout history, pickles have had a major role in food culture. We're inspired by the pickle and use it to help us elevate comfort food to new levels.

We believe in the American craft beer movement and are proud to be a part of it. Everyday we learn about new beer makers who are pushing limits to make the best and most original beer they can.

We are completely inspired by the craft cocktail movement and believe that using the freshest and most natural ingredients makes the most delicious cocktails.
