The course includes:

Six 1 ½ hour classes and a final Spring Fling Party        

This program has been specifically designed for sixth graders with skills they will use for the rest of their lives:

·         Communication skills, knowledge of basic dance styles, including a fall Fifties night in November, and a Country Western night in February. 

·         Each class learns to change partners constantly and gives our students an opportunity to meet friends from other schools. 

·         Our teaching methods include practicing good social skills and a little “fine dining” thrown in.

·         Dress codes are important to teach proper attire which is age appropriate. 

·         Young ladies must wear dresses or skirts, no shorts, long pants or coulottes (Jeans are allowed on Fifties night and Country Western night).  No strapless dresses , high heels or flip flops.

·         Young gentlemen must wear dress shirts and pants (jeans on Fifties and Country Western nights).  Ties must be worn to each class and coats will be required for the final Spring Fling party. No tennis or athletic shoes.

We have discovered that Cotillion is the perfect answer to the sixth grader’s desire for social activity, but in a structured and comfortable atmosphere. We would like to invite your child to be a part of this fun, exciting program this year.
