Recommended for dry foods only and is not dishwasher or microwave safe. It is also not recommended to soak in water. If the piece should need cleaning, wet a cloth or non-abrasive scrub pad in warm soapy water and lightly wipe the surface, rinse with a clean damp cloth and then immediately dry the surface. In order to maintain the beauty, after the piece is thoroughly dry, a light coat of mineral oil/beeswax that can be purchased from any home center can be applied if needed.
