Have you read about fermenting vegetables and/or the benefits of probiotics? If you haven't, you should. If you have, maybe you thought it was too difficult to try? It's not. Maybe you tried and had less than optimal results? FTCNS parent Patrick Radoszewski has been fermenting vegetables for seven years after seeing Sandoor Katz (the godfather of the new fermenting movement) speak in Chicago. He is happy to share that experience with you. If you are interested in fermenting your own sauerkraut, kimchi, pickles, hot sauce, giardinera, or have some other ideas, buy this. Pick a fermenting project like one of those listed prior, and everything you need (hardware and ingredients) will be provided to get a batch started. We'll walk you through the process, and send you home with it. The fermenting "kit" to take home will include some jars, weights and airlocks for your future ferments.
