A medium bodied wine with nice acidity and a long finish. On the nose, notes of allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon. During fermentation, this was often referred to as the Christmas wine due to it’s aromas. On the palate, lots of dark fruit upfront along with some notes of smoked meat adding to the complexity. A very approachable wine with soft tannins, that should drink well over the next 10 years.
