CAH05 Academy bone china, very good condition. 6-piece settings, service for 12 plus platter and vegetable bowl.  This pattern was manufactured for 17 years from 1987-2003, by the Mikasa company, based in the United States. The Academy pattern features a beautiful black and gold band that comes together with an almost crescent-like shape. Combining the two colors makes for a very strong and dignified look. This pattern is perfect for those who like to make a bold statement while still staying classy. These pieces would probably work best in an informal setting, though they really can work in a variety of situations. Be sure to get some Academy items if you want a collection that is very sophisticated.
