Whether you’re a weekend warrior dying to record your music, or a seasoned artist looking to finish a long-delayed project, here’s a rare chance to record at Kingsize Sound Labs, where star artists such as Neko Case, Wilco, Naked Raygun and The Romantics have all worked. Many of the stellar performers who teach and take classes at Old Town School also call Kingsize home. Lou was also a consultant to Lane Tech on construction of its recording facility workshop.

You’ll go in the studio under veteran record producer, studio musician and Jones parent Lou Carlozo, who will act as your recording engineer free of charge. You’ll also have access to a complete line of boutique amps, guitars and instruments, including a Hammond B3. This is a rare chance to gain insider access to one of the largest recording facilities in the Midwest. Additional hours will be available at a special Friends of Lane booking rate for either Kingsize or Lou’s satellite facility, Carma Studios.
