Vintage Tuareg Hand-Crafted Silver Cuff Bracelet and Fan Earrings from Niger

Description
Stunning Tuareg Duo: The traditionally-nomadic Tuareg people are indigenous to the Sahara desert. They are often called "the Blue People of the desert" due to the indigo dye they use on their garments that stains their skin. This one-of-a-kind set features a hand-hammered silver cuff bracelet with intricate etched patterns. The bracelet is paired with silver fan earrings with copper details. Each earring is hand cut and chiseled so there is a slight variation in pattern and size. This gorgeous set was acquired by C.A.S.E. therapist, Madeleine Krebs when she served in Niger as a Peace Corps Volunteer from 1992 - 1994. Be sure to view these other hand-crafted Tuareg items: #229, #230 and #231.
