Description

Korean Tradition: 20" Korean doll dressed in a Hanbok standing in a 23" X 11.5" X 14" glass and black wood case. She's dressed in a purple satin flower-embroidered hanbok, with flowers in her hair and in her hands, and wearing a pearl necklace and earrings. A hanbok or "Korean clothing" is the South Korean traditional dress. The dress typically consists of a 7-layer shirt, simple lines with no pockets, a wide and flexible skirt called a chima dress and uses many different colors with natural dyes. Up until 100 years ago, hanboks were worn daily and are now only worn for festive occasions or anniversaries. This collector's item is a great way to celebrate Korean heritage and a beautiful addition to your doll collection.
