Charles M. Schulz, a local artist otherwise known as "Sparky", debuted his first Peanuts comic strip on October 2, 1950 in seven newspapers across the nation. The Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center displays thousands of original artworks created for the Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, in addition to letters, photos, unique Peanuts products, and tribute artwork.
Of particular interest to the parents of preschoolers, Mondays from 10 AM - 12 PM children ages 1 - 5 years old and their parents/guardians are invited to the museum to enjoy stories, crafts, and fun! Invite some friends and have a great time taking a journey through the life, times, and works of Charles M. Schulz!
