The students from Mrs. Chapman’s fourth grade class teamed up do a collaborative art piece, Make Your Own Sunshine. This piece was inspired by CBS Sunday Morning’s “Sun Art” included in each of their broadcasts.  The students started with simple base colors in acrylic on the canvas, creating an image of the sun as a central piece. Each student then designed their own “ray” using an assortment of mediums of their choice. The rays were placed around the sun to create the final collaborative piece.
