Description

A true landmark in fashionable Pacific Heights, the mansion at Broadway and Webster has represented the Government of Italy in San Francisco and the Western US for over 60 years. Built in the late ‘20's for a wealthy family, it still retains old world charm while offering a number of services to the Italian- American community. Although closed to the general public, the Consulate is the venue for receptions and events for a very select crowd.

You may skip the queue and join a private tour of the Consulate led by the Deputy Consul. Entering from the grand entrance on Broadway, you will go past the “employees only” gates to have a glimpse of the inner workings of a diplomatic mission, and admire the architectural features of the mansion, the private garden, the grand staircase leading to the former living quarters of the Consul, the reception room reserved for the invitation-only events hosted by the Consul General for local dignitaries and international guests.

A light refreshment will crown this very special hour-long exclusive tour led by the Deputy Consul.
