The company utilizes reclaimed lobster, mussel, clam and other New England shells to make beautiful jewelry and homegoods. Maine Shellware, LLC was founded in 2008. The company is owned by Michelle Klam with the manufacturing facility in Bangor, Maine. Artisan and office manager Amy Douglass, joined the team in 2015 and is assisted by artisan Nicole Klam.
