TITLE: “Beauty in Diversity”

DESCRIPTION: Our primary auction piece is a collection of painted wooden butterflies in flight towards the sky. The butterflies were painted with oil based acrylic paint pens over two sessions by each of the kindergartners, as well as by Frau Hamill herself (and supplemented by the room’s art docents). Each piece turned out as unique as the child who painted it. Collectively, the individual butterflies come to life in a beautiful reflection of the diversity of each child’s creativity and personality.
