TITLE: “Winter Trees”

DESCRIPTION: Miss Gordon’s class was inspired by the famous painting “The Starry Night” by Vincent Van Gogh. The children used water colors in both warm and cold palettes to create a vibrant background that takes up most of the composition. They drew lines that curve and swirl, giving it a sense of abstract landscape in motion. Three Birch trees in white and black are dominating the foreground over the landscape creating the main focus of the masterpiece.
