Mary Beard was one of the founding parents of Summerfield Waldorf School and Farm, was on the faculty for two years, and started the instrumental music program many years ago.
Professional Music Teacher Mary Beard is offering 3 45-minute singing lessons (children, teens or adults), to explore your voice. We start where you or your child are: whether you've had no training at all or have received some past training, whether you're working on carrying a tune or are looking for how to support your singing voice more, increase your range, or just become more secure in singing. My focus is very different for children than for adults and what we do will be age-appropriate and fun.
Mary Beard holds a BA in music from Stanford University and had additional training in Germany and in the bel canto style. Mary currently studies with Ruth Ann Swenson.
