Since January 2000, we've been "Bringing the Best Films in the World to Sonoma County" to Rialto Cinemas--Sonoma County's premiere movie theatre for the best independent, foreign and specialty films from around the world. Readers of the North Bay Bohemian have voted us Sonoma County's Best Movie Theatre for ten consecutive years.

Now we're bringing our brand of independent, customer friendly experience to Berkeley's Elmwood Theatre. We'll feature a diverse mix of films including the best quality films from Hollywood and a diverse array of independent and foreign films from around the world. To borrow a line about the quality of movies available right now from the Directors' Welcome letter of the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival, "there is plenty of light shining in the dark." We strive honor the magic of the movies by presenting them in a way that lets the film shine. Come join us in the dark and we will shine new light on the world.
