deadhorse hill is a restaurant and cafe on Worcester's Main Street. It takes its name from a steep incline on Stafford Street where early settlers' horses would collapse trying to scale the hill. Later, in the early 1900s, automobiles tested their might in a one mile race to the summit.

The restaurant and cafe are located in what used to be the first floor of the 'Bay State House' hotel, which served as the headquarters for the Worcester Automobile Club, who held the Dead Horse Hill Climb from 1905-1911.
