Description
An hour long consultation with Beacon based, published poet, Ruth Danon. In your hour long consultation you will have the opportunity to discuss your writing with an experienced writer/teacher. Ruth will provide feedback and editing suggestions for work you want to discuss and will also offer suggestions about how to develop your writing further. Ruth's specialty is poetry but she also works with prose writers. Ruth will help you learn to read your work in new ways and deepen your understanding of the revision process.
Special Instructions
Ruth Danon’s last book, WORD HAS IT, was published by Nirala Series in March, 2018. She is the author of LIMITLESS TINY BOAT (2015, BlazeVOX), and much earlier, TRIANGULATION FROM A KNOWN POINT and LIVING WITH THE FIREMAN (a chapbook). Her work has appeared in many publications in the US and abroad, including Rain Taxi, Largehearted Boy, Fence, BOMB, The Paris Review, Barrow Street, Crayon, Tupelo Quarterly, and others. Her work has been anthologized in Best American Poetry 2002 (selected by Robert Creeley), Eternal Snow (2018), and Resist Much, Obey Little (2018.) Ruth Danon teaches in the Hudson Valley and in New York City.
