Description
Handmade Oda-mobiles are successful because each has a story to tell, which you may see with your own imagination.
The paper mobiles are meticulously cut objects with a lot of amusing and cheerful details.
The Christmas mobiles have miniatures of the folkloristic “nisse” figures with their red caps and brazen freckled faces. There are tiny interesting details, a pair of golden scissors, small presents and finery on the Christmas trees.
In 1994 Oda received the FORMLAND-Fantasy-Prize at the Danish exhibition of arts and crafts FORMLAND.

This item must be picked up at the Danish Seamen’s Church in Brooklyn Heights, New York no later than April 30, 2019, during our opening hours or be shipped at the bidder's own expense. Shipping expenses will automatically be charged to the credit card on file. After July 1, 2019 unclaimed items will be transferred to next year’s auction.
