Mrs. Morgan's Kindergarteners were inspired to dream of ways they can improve the world after learning about Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, and Martin Luther King. They also read the book, "Dream Big" by Leslie Zimmerman and looked at artwork such as "The Builder" by artist Jacob Lawrence, depicting figures of all races building their future world together. After all of this inspiration, the children used paint markers to express their ideas, which were then digitally incorporated into a collective collage, printed on paper and framed. This is a unique and colorful representation of how our kids view a better world -- we know they will make it so!
