"You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one." The musical genius and legend, John Lennon, inspired Mr. Shannon's bright-eyed first graders to express their dreams using words, symbols, and images. An iconic image was recreated using the children's words and dreams with some behind-the-scenes help from local artist Lisa Bohm. (If you have ever been to The Fillmore SF you may have seen her work of Jerry Garcia adorning the staircase). The kids had fun listening to Lennon's music and letting their creativity fly. This wild pop-art image will bring some magic into the home of its lucky owner!
