Ms. Pollack's fifth-graders are inspired by the famous song in Walt Disney's Pinocchio. "When you wish upon a star, Makes no difference who you are, Anything your heart desires, Will come to you… When you wish upon a star, Your DREAMS come true." Ms. Pollack's class created handmade 3D paper stars that showcase their individual dreams. These stars were then captured in a sketched photo of the kids and placed in a shadowbox that will be a cherished and enduring art piece for its owner.
