Originally founded as Cathedral High School in 1917, the school moved to its present location in 1959 and changed its name to Rice Memorial High School.  Its mission has remained the same for over 100 hundred years: to guide students toward the realization of their God-given potential by teaching them how to recognize and develop their gifts, to love learning, serve others, and seek God.
