Description
You and group of your friends can enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime, private tour of the Steinway & Sons factory in Astoria, Queens.
You will have the rare opportunity to see the entire process of creating a Steinway piano from start to finish. From preparation and shaping of the wood frame, to the creation and shaping of the hammers, to the setting of the keys, to the final tuning... It takes a full year just to build one!
You will gain wonderful insight into the creation and inner workings of the finest pianos on the planet!
Special Instructions
Items may be picked up the night of the gala, mailed via USPS, or picked up at Third Street Music School After May 7 and until June 1st between the hours of 9:30 am and 5:30 pm or by appointment.
Items expire a year from the auction close unless otherwise noted.
