You are donating $100 to help fund the Waldorf School of the Peninsula Strings Scholarship Program.

 
This scholarship will fund strings lessons for those students who are required to learn strings as a vital part of the curriculum. There are many reasons why strings are a part of the Waldorf curriculum. They provide an emotional outlet, give the students the opportunity to feel the music in their own bodies, provide excellent brain development, and encourage self-discipline and problem solving. In addition to all of that, strings provide the opportunity to be a part of an ensemble working and striving together to create something beautiful. Lastly, playing a stringed instrument can become a passion for many students who continuemastering their instruments through middle school and high school and throughout their lives.
