Description

In a fun and encouraging approach we will learn to play the harmonica via simple folk songs, train rhythms, country, pop and even some blues. By using powerful breathing and hand techniques we'll make our harmonicas and any song deeply expressive. You will even be wailing da blues! Proper care of your harmonica and some harmonica history also included. One harmonica (10 hole key of C) is included in the cost. If parent/s would like a harmonica they can purchase one from Dave for $12 each. This class is best for children age 7-12 (older children may come without a parent.) Light snacks will be provided.

Dave Broida is a professional harmonica player/singer and teacher, and leader of the Blues band, "Dave Broida and Bluesfarm" for the past 15 years. He aims to teach beginners in a FUN and supportive way. No theory, just hands on playing approach quickly has little ones playing!
