English Porcelain Pendant. The Chartres Bead Size is 1.5 inches in diameter. Fired and void of all moisture, pendants weigh only one-third of an ounce. Included is a waxed organic cotton cord that’s color coordinated and clasped with a finger friendly looped Chinese Button. You’ll also receive a statement of provenance for the Labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral. Our pieces are individually formed by hand from a block of moist porcelain clay. They are glazed with an artist’s brush and high-fired for durability. As with all handmade items, each one is unique.

Our Lotus Blossom Glaze explores the outer limits of a “Dialogue of Opposites”. This concept has long been examined by artists. It’s been said, that a dialogue of opposites will lead to positive change. The Lotus Blossom mixture of Blue/Green blended with Brown and Yellow includes flecks of glass. When fired, the flecks melt and flow. Thus, offering us harmonious contrast, and the genesis for opposites to change and come together.
