We are located in the beautiful and charming downtown "Village of Carlsbad." There is plenty to see and do while your dancer receives their lessons. Our location is a five minute (or less) walk from restaurants, shops or the beach. We are the finest dance facility in San Diego County. Our bright & clean studios have raised/floating hardwood dance floors and professional sound systems. We have a large private patio area where you can relax, visit with other CDC members, read a book or just soak in the sun!
Quality Services
Carlsbad Dance Centre is dedicated to providing affordable, professional dance instruction. The dance year culminates with our annual Dance Recital program and award ceremonies for outstanding long-term students. The Recital is held in a beautiful, professional concert theater. There are also opportunities for students to perform locally, attend dance conferences and participate in regional and national dance competitions.

Dynamic Leadership

Running a business that involves a great deal of interaction, influence and time spent with young children and teens, is considerably different then repairing someone’s car or dry-cleaning their clothing. You don’t have an emotional relationship or attachment to your car (OK…some folks do!) or your clothing. Your children however are the most important part of your life! Jana & Ron Romaine; the owners of Carlsbad Dance Centre understand the responsibility and magnitude of providing a dance studio that’s a safe and moral place for your children to spend time. Jana’s career as a dancer and teacher spans twenty-five years. During that time Jana has worked with and had a positive influence on thousands of children. Ron has owned and run businesses for more than thirty years and understands the significant and delicate balance of blending business and personal relationships. Together Jana & Ron form a partnership that’s creative, caring and diligent.

The Carlsbad Dance Centre employs a diverse group of professional teachers that are second to none. Our experienced, dedicated and talented staff, provides your dancer with a myriad of styles, disciplines and personalities to train under. Versatility & variety is one of the keys to a great dancer! We also provide our customers access to a full-time administrative office open Monday thru Saturday and staffed with friendly, knowledgeable people to help you with your dance needs. In this business you can have the best possible facilities but if you don’t have a staff to match, you’ve got nothing.
Beginning to Advanced Classes, Ages 18-Months thru Adult
Whether you are a serious student of dance or just looking for exercise and fun social interaction; the Carlsbad Dance Centre has a place for all dancers. At over 140 classes a week, our schedule offers more variety and choices than any other local studio! We have wonderful beginning programs (Tiny Tots & Combo classes) that teach muscle coordination and good social skills. Our recreational program provides excellent training and discipline for children who choose to continue dance beyond those early years and right into high school. If you are looking for a dance experience a bit more intense and challenging, our award winning and nationally recognized Competition Team is just the right place. The competition program provides a talented and dedicated dancer the opportunity to realize their full potential through hard work and commitment.
