As a watercolorist, Sheila’s paintings reflect the essence of the light, color, texture, and mood that she observes in the ever-changing landscapes of the beautiful countryside. Painting plein-aire as often as possible, Sheila communicates the fundamental nature of the places she visits. She is also fascinated with the shapes and textures of the structures she enjoys painting.  Her work has been exhibited at juried shows in Greene County as well as in selected artists and group shows in New York and New Jersey.
