Tennessea Turquoise, featured on HGTV's Bahamas Life, is a comfortable home which we spend much time in ourselves. We have recently refurnished, redecorated, and maintain it as we do our own home in Tennessee. The beach is steps away and has gorgeous turquoise "swimming pool" water with both a coral reef and a sandy bottom. The water is easily accessible to cool off in while spending time on the beach. A small island, which one can swim to, provides protection from heavy waves, as well as, exploration while sea kayaking, snorkeling or paddle boarding. The beach is quiet and a safe place for children to explore, as our son did in his childhood. The deck off the greatroom provides ample area for outdoor activities with both shady and sunny spaces. There are 3 tables available for outdoor dining. Our family loves to cook so we have furnished the kitchen with all the tools needed to cook a memorable meal. Both bedrooms, with king-sized beds, have French doors that lead out to balconies facing the ocean. A loft overlooks the greatroom. Whether one chooses to watch DVD movies or curl up with a book, the loft provides an extra area for adult relaxation or play area for children. A comfortable daybed converts to a double bed or king if needed. The loft shares a bathroom with the upstairs bedroom. A separate observation deck offers a perfect place to enjoy incredible views of nearby islands while having a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail. So take a nap or watch the sunrise from the hammock in our yard beside the ocean!
