Description

The Huntington - Two Admission Passes

Originally the private estate of railroad magnate Henry Huntington, The Huntington is one of Southern California’s must-see cultural destinations with magnificent collections of rare books, manuscripts, and works of art. Among the highlights are Gainsborough’s “The Blue Boy,” Mary Cassatt’s “Breakfast in Bed,” a Gutenberg Bible, an illuminated manuscript of Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales, and a First Folio edition of Shakespeare. Did we mention the gardens? The extensive grounds feature diverse botanical collections in 12 specialized gardens. Make sure to stop by the Desert Garden, it is very impressive. One day may not be enough!
