Bronx Science students have an opportunity for a special visit to Legal Aid in the Bronx on Thursday, June 6 (it is a day off from school!) from 10am - 12:30pm.
Start your tour with a Court Officer at the Bronx Criminal Court, 215 East 161st Street. Then visit the District Attorney's office in the Bronx County Hall of Justice (across the street at 265 East 161st Street,) where your student will visit the jury rooms and the back cells. They will also learn about arraignments, court appointed attorneys and legal aid.
Grab a spot for your student before they are all gone!
Special Instructions
Student tour participants need to provide their own transportation to and from the tour site. Students can come on their own and do not need a parent/guardian. A Bronx Science parent will be present to oversee the group. However, parents can purchase a spot on the tour if they desire.
