An excerpt from the book: "I want to stay up! Hedgie is starting to feel sleepy as winter approaches, and all of the forest animals notice "nighty, night," and then all of the wondrous sights of winter that Hedgie will miss. So what's an adventurous kind of hedgehog to do? Stay up for winter of course! My story is set in Denmark, a preview to Lisa's farm that is the setting for THE HAT. With Lisa's help, Hedgie sees the old chicken coop transformed into an ice palace, snowflakes, (no two are alike), blue time, snowmen, pond ice, and pony pulling a sleigh. Hedgie has his snowy nap at the end, but not before a little surprise unfolds in my borders. I hope Hedgie will be in many little one's bedtime story time."
