Fitness by the Sea Beach Camp, www.fitnessbythesea.com , has been serving families from Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades and surrounding neighborhoods since 2000. Our unique day camps provide children, with an environment that fosters growth and encourages making active and productive choices.

Don’t want to drive all the way out to the beach? Don’t worry! We offer optional transportation Please go to https://fitnessbythesea.com/transportation/ to find the best bus stop for your family and view details of all of our bus routes and stop times. 

We offer flexible scheduling options for busy families. You can register your child for any number of days and are not locked into to signing up for a minimum number of weeks – you pick the days that work for your schedule.  We also allow unlimited date changes at no additional cost because we know life can be unpredictable! 

Fitness by the Sea takes pride in being “the safest beach camp” in Los Angeles County, according to The Chief of LA County Lifeguards. We maintain our flawless safety record by hiring an older staff (average age 26 years old) to truly focus on your child’s development. We provide a very low camper to counselor ratio (6:1) at all times to ensure that your child’s safety is always our top priority. 

Your child can spend the day at the beach participating in activities like surfing, swimming, arts & crafts, soccer, gymnastics, baseball, hip-hop dance, martial arts…over 80 activities, giving campers the power to choose which activities they want to participate in.
