Fascinating Ethics Bowl Discussion and Dinner!

Thoughtful, engaged participants will simulate a mini Ethics Bowl round, choosing two cases from the national set of 2019 Ethics Bowl cases to discuss after learning how the Ethics Bowl works. The Ethics Bowl is an alternative form of school debate which is rapidly growing in popularity across the country. Participants think deeply about ethical, real-life questions. This experience will be led by Dr. Sandra Dreisbach, Gateway parent and co-founder of UCSC’s college Ethics Bowl team and Dr. Jon Ellis, Gateway parent and founding director of UCSC’s Center for Public Philosophy.
