Description
The winner receives a voucher for a week of Camp Pixel for the Summer of 2019! This voucher may only be used for the Minecraft Texture Design and Pixel Art course (ages 7-9) that runs from July 1st to July 5th. Camp runs 9 AM - 3 PM all summer and Extended Care until 5:30 PM is also available.
Design your own version of Minecraft! Campers use image manipulation software to learn how to create 2D pixel art, design skins for their character and create textures for their world to change the way Minecraft looks. Campers upload their finished designs to their Minecraft world, stylized and themed to their creative imagination.
At CAMP/pixel, we take cutting-edge tech skills (like those found in college-level Computer Science classes) and break them down into intriguing, hands-on experiences for kids ages 7-14. Campers are introduced to a new world of imagination and creativity through inquiry-based learning using professional-grade technology and methods that most students just don't get at school.
