I am a writer, teacher, and performer living on the Upper West Side of New York City. My philosophy across all platforms is to strive to help others express themselves fluidly and with fun.

I have been teaching for over 13 years, beginning as a middle and high school ELA teacher in the NYC DOE as part of my service through Teach for America. Now I offer private tutoring in a variety of subject areas focusing on analytical writing and writing fluency. In addition, I serve as Associate Education Director for the nationally-respected nonprofit Story Pirates Changemakers where I supervise curriculum, teach professional development, and am head of new teacher hiring.
