The 6th grade art piece is a dragon mosaic. It was inspired by our unit on fantasy narratives. The design is a combination of several drawings submitted by 6th grade students. Each student created one of the ceramic puzzle pieces that make up the finished design. Ms. Smith’s father, Steven Smith generously donated the time and materials to cut the backer board and create the beautiful redwood frame. The piece can be kept either inside or outside.
