Kevin Koebel, (local Dooner) is a classically trained chef who has dedicated his life to date with the intention of understanding food. How it impacts us, our communities, our children, what is the most sensible use and preparation of it, and how to keep it local. This cause has taken him from Norway to Paris, Germany, Canada, Italy, Korea and many places throughout the US. With this goal in mind, he has cooked for people such as President Carter, Danny Glover, Gloria Steinem, Wilma Mankiller and more. While Kevin has been part of many restaurants in his career, educating the Consumer to their role in our food system has always been the keen interest.
