Animals Asia’s Dr Dog is an innovative animal-assisted therapy program that provides people in need with what they need most – a best friend. The program is also changing the way people feel about dogs.  

Animals Asia’s Professor Paws is an innovative program that sees registered therapy dogs visit local schools in Hong Kong and China to teach children to overcome their fear of dogs, learn safety around dogs, responsible pet care and compassion for all animals. On a broader level, the program is sculpting attitudes to dogs (and all animals) at a young age and teaching children the importance of kindness and compassion. 

This is your chance to cover the cost of a Dr. Dog or Professor Paws visit. Many of these dogs are mixed-breed, helping to spread the message that it’s not just expensive pedigree dogs that deserve our respect. Our programs benefit over 5,000 individuals each year.
