Mon Beau Miroir

After looking at pictures of Versailles, particularly the mirrors in Versailles’s castle, we decided to make a mirror inspired by the one located in the Sun King’s room. 

We painted a canvas and added our hand-made clay decorations, such as spirals and balls, which we then painted in gold. 

We reproduced the Sun King’s face, also using clay and made a fruit bowl with tissue paper.

Finally, we put everything together and created “Mon Beau Miroir”.
