The maker of this necklace, Ms. Joan Link is an avid dog lover.  She has a wonderful little Border Terrier named GoGo. This necklace represents the emotional upset Ms. Link felt as she heard about a horrific case of abuse of a group of dogs.  She states "her heart was crying" thinking of the poor dogs.
