Artist Statement:
Here is a definition on website "Mermaids were natural beings who, like fairies, had magical and prophetic powers. They loved music and often sang." This is why we all love them.
Artist Biography:
Carolyn is a plein aire artist. She also paints portraits, still life and genre. Recent awards include Catherine Lorillard Award at National Arts Club and the Jane Peterson Memorial Award at the Salmagundi Club, New York City- both associations she is a juried artist member. She is also a life member of the Art Students League. She is a signature artist member of the Hudson Valley Art Association and Fellow Member of the American Artists Professional League, Portrait Artists of America, Copley Society of Art, Rockport Art Association and North Shore Art Association. Most importantly, Carolyn is a life member of the Marblehead Art Association.

Special Instructions
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 9-14 at Lizzy Loo, 108 Washington St, Marblehead during normal store hours. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information on pick-up time and location.
If winning bidder requires shipping, winner's credit card will be charged a separate $24.95 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
Any cod purchased via "Buy Now" will remain on display at the hosting business through the end of the auction, and will be available for pick-up as detailed in the winning bidder notification email.
If winning bidder has not picked up cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
