Miljenko 'Mike' Grgich first gained recognition as the winemaker whose Chardonnay won the 1975 Paris Tasting where the French judges chose a California Chardonnay over their own French wines. Included with the Chardonnay is its lighter more fruity cousin, a Fume Blanc.
