This book is Bettijane Sills' memoir of her life as a child actor on Broadway, corps de ballet and soloist with New York City Ballet under Balanchine's direction, and professor at Purchase College for over 30 years teaching Balanchine's style. Sills is a graduate of The High School of Performing Arts (Dance 1960). Co-author Elizabeth McPherson is the mother of LaG Alum Delia Cadman (Art 2016), and LaG student Cora Cadman (Drama 2022).
