Description

This Carnelian, Tibetan Agate, Onyx & Copper Bracelet from mary jane dodd "is dedicated to the spiritual male - the soul seeker, the warrior of peace." She offers the following poem as well:

you are needed
you are appreciated
you are valued

setting ego aside, you are able to see yourself in others, and others in yourself. with this in mind, you act with honor and integrity.

and i am very very pleased to be making something symbolically wearable for you to this end.

The bracelet is made with 8mm matte stones in onyx, carnelian, and Tibetan agate, chosen for their beauty and properties. The matte finish was selected for its subtle sheen. Each of the stones contains and represents different qualities:

  • black onyx - strength, steadfastness, self confidence

  • carnelian - creativity, encourages positive life choices

  • Tibetan agate - brings calm, balance and positive outlook

A rustic leather cording is knotted between each bead. The copper spacer beads and button closure are made by mary jane - heavily textured, antiqued and polished with namaste and the om symbol on the front and 'courage' embedded on the rear to remind you that you can only be brave if you face your fears.

mary jane describes herself as 'a maker of protective, connective, meaning-filled adornment and small metal objects... observer of humanity and the natural world... lover of fire, metal, hammers, anvils & patina... but also soft fibers, deliberate stitches, glowing gemstones & words... seeker of peace..."
